Five Important News Updates

(1) C-SPAN UPDATE

C-SPAN is currently planning to air Thursday's Minnesota presidential debates with John Hagelin, hosted by Jesse Ventura, this Sunday, October 1, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.

As you know, Thursday's debates were scheduled to be broadcast live by C-SPAN at 7:00 p.m. Central time. Late Thursday afternoon, just hours before the debates began, we were informed by C-SPAN that the debates would not be aired live but would be taped for later broadcast. As we've mentioned in earlier news flashes, news stations reserve the right to make last- minute changes in their schedules, and we may not be able to notify you in time about these changes. (This statement applies, of course, to C-SPAN's Sunday schedule as well.) We apologize for the inconvenience to those of you who tuned in Thursday night, and we hope you'll be able to enjoy the debates this weekend.

Beginning on October 1 and continuing through Election Day, Web White & Blue will host a daily online exchange among the presidential campaigns, including the Hagelin/Goldhaber campaign. The debate will be carried on Web White & Blue at http://www.webwhiteblue.org/rcd/ and will reach more than 85% of the Internet's audience. Candidate answers will also be published in the Washington Post and many other major national newspapers.
