Dateline 4/8/2000 John Hagelin To Speak At Summit On Spirituality And Governance: Everyone InvitedJohn Hagelin will be a featured speaker at "Re-igniting the Spirit of America: A Summit on Values, Spirituality, and Governance" to be held on April 27-30 at Georgetown University Conference Center in Washington, D.C. He will join many other nationally respected spiritual and political leaders, including Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Congressman Jim Leach (R-IA), Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), former Congresswoman Claudine Schneider (R-RI), Rabbi Michael Lerner, and authors Barbara Marx Hubbard, Marianne Williamson, Corinne McLaughlin, and Neale Donald Walsch (for a complete schedule, see http://www.spiritsummit.org or the reprinted Summit announcement below). The Summit is sponsored by the Center for Visionary Leadership and ReCreation Foundation. Dr. Hagelin will speak on "A New Science of Governance" during the Summit session on "Bringing Spiritual Values into Government" on Friday, April 28, at 11:00 a.m. The purpose of the Summit is to explore spiritually based solutions to social problems and tools for creating a new politics.
