Two Big NLP Events in Washington, D.C., June 17 and 20

(EVENT ONE) On Thursday, June 17, the Natural Law Party will host the National Summit on the Hazards of Genetically Engineered Foods at the Capitol Hilton Hotel, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Panelists will include top scientists, farmers, financial investors, religious leaders, and consumers who will present their serious misgivings about the proliferation of genetically engineered foods. In addition, 500,000 petition signatures calling for the mandatory labeling of GE foods will be presented to Congressional representatives. There is no cost to attend this event. (EVENT TWO) On Sunday, June 20, John Hagelin and bestselling author Neale Donald Walsch will host an evening of "Personal Transformation and Political Renewal" at the Omni Shoreham Hotel at 7:00 p.m. The event is open to the public.
